I am new to DNN. I downloaded the DNN simple article module and would like to adjust so as change the way the article is displayed - move the title, change the size, make the articles populate horizontally as opposed to vertically. I would also like to add a button so I can side scroll between articles within a page horizontally. Are there any tips as to which files to access and where to be able to do all this? I know this gets into more of the development side of things (which I am not familiar with) but I am hoping I can just tweak existing modules to suit my needs.

Normally, you can change the look and feel using a combination of CSS and templating (if the module has that feature).

The good news is that Chris Hammond created this module. He does first-rate work.

As I am not familiar with the module, I would recommend that you use the Support tab at the module's home on codeplex.com to ask these sorts of questions. Chris should be able to tell you more about the customization features that are available, and where to find and adjust them.

I looked a bit more and it looks like each of the articles are wrapped in a containing div with a class named Article Wrapper. You can start there, and look to see how the rest of each article is laid out. Then, you can modifiy the CSS for the different classes to modify the article display.
