Hi all,

DNN newbie.  I'm trying to find a report module where I can convert column data to a hyperlink that will display details about that field.

I cannot see how the exsiting report module will do this.  I purchesed a 3rd party module but the author tells me what I want is not possible with his module.  So, I'm back to square one.

Apoligies in advance if this question has been answered.  I've been poking around all day and could find nothing.

Yours in struggle,

Rocco

Could you give a more specific example? Also, where does the data reside?

Hey Joe,

Thanks for the quick reply...

The data is in the DNN DB (MSSQL) in tables I've created.  An example would be:

1) Table of ping pong players
2) Table of ping pong tournaments
3) Table of tournament results

I'd like to be able to list all players formatted nicley of cource in a grid.  Each player name would be a hyperlink that when clicked would reveal a list of all the tournaments played by that plyer.  In turn each tournament would be a hyperlink that when clicked would reveal all the results of that tournament and so on.  i.e who placed 1st, 2nd, etc and the prizes won.  Pretty standard drill down really.

I guess what I need is a report module that supports ItemIemplate/EditTemplate/Hyperlink for .NET grids underneath.  Just guessing though.

Regards,
    Rocco

It could be worth checking out the latest version of XMOD to see if it can cover your needs
