A quick question if I may......I add a image lets say a picture of a dog to the page....now lets say the picture is over to the left sid eof the page...and I want to add text to the right of the image....but the cursor is eith on top of the image or below it......how can I add text next to it?  it s almos tlike I have to creat a text box adjacent to the image....

this is my problem, rather basic but.....hard for me to figure out........

also i used teh site wizard and choos a five page template..now was thsi a mistake ..I do not want to do alot of work then I am locked in...as a newbie I do no tknow what I am doign or I do not see the big picture here...looking for some guidance
1) yes keep the 5 page template  - you cna expand
2) or NO get rid of it and start from scratch....it will be better in the long run

For the image, make sure that align="left" is an attribute of the image tag.  You can edit the text of the html module and switch to the html view to do that.  The Styling and formatting in the Text / HTML module tutorial will show you lots of other great tips and tricks.  The Styling and formatting (part 2) – Text / HTML module and FCKEditor tutorial show you even more.

For the other question, you can simply change the site skin to a more suitable one.  All of your modules will still be on their pages.  Some of the modules -- ones that were in panes that no longer exist -- will have migrated to other panes, but you can easily move the to where you want them to appear.  You can rearrange modules using the "drag and drop" feature in DotNetNuke:  in edit mode, click and hold the mouse on the module title until it is highlighted.  Then you can drag the module to a new location.
