When someone is clicking on an event title in the event calendar of the DNN Events module, they get to an EventDetails page that has the URL ending like this: /Events/tabid/76/ModuleID/542/ItemID/553/mctl/EventDetails/Default.aspx
Is it possible to show a more user friendly URL and show the title of the event in the URL?

We are using some email analytics software and sending out emails to members with links to those event pages, and looking at the analytics results, we see which links were accessed more often, but having the URL so random, we cannot tell which event is that referring to.

Thanks,
Steven

It has been a while since I've worked with that module, but I seem to recall that friendlier URLs are a configurable feature.

There is a forum devoted to the Events module in the Community area of dnnsoftware.com. You'll find that the Events module's developers hang out there, and they are a friendly and helpful bunch.

If you can't achieve what you want with the Events module, you might want to take a look at the URL Adapter module from DNNSharp.com. It has a lot of features to help tame DNN URLs, and DNNSharp is a quality module developer.
