Hi,

I use the Digital Asset Management module on my DNN website, and when I click on a file, I get this error:

Server Error

404 - File or directory not found. The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

And the requested URL is:
http://fr03wevp:8080/LinkClick.aspx...4285242782

Let’s precise that I configured the module in order to upload the files on a database. If I do it through the default way (i.e. on the server), it works.

Does someone have a solution?

Thank you

Paul

(I deleted the duplicate of this question.)

First, some questions:
1. DNN Version
2. Is this a new installation?
3. Have you done an upgrade?

Hi Joseph,
thank you for your quick reply.

The DNN version is 07.02.02.
Yes this is a new installation and there was no upgrade. Plus, we have IIS 6.1.

When the module contains an uploaded file:
- I can right click it and click on "Download". This works fine
- I cannot left click it to download it immediately, because of the 404 error file not found that pops up

It looks that in the URL, the site name is missing juste before "/LinkClick....", if I add it, the file is downloaded straight away.

I've just installed the 7.2.1 version to test the digital assets management module, and it works perfectly fine.
I am going to try and reinstall the 7.2.2 version

Thank you

If you are using IIS 6.1 that is a problem. DNN 7.0.0 and later requires IIS 7.5.
