Default Search module not working properly it Search some of the word and it does not gives the result with following words.

I'm not sure which version of DNN you use, but you should upgrade to the latest release. DNN 7.1.2 has a greatly improved search capability over earlier versions. The "new" search usex the Lucene search engine that was part of the Xeipient search that was acquired by DNN several years ago. There are lots of improvements and performance advantages.

I am facing same issue with other site and dont have boost search module. I also re-index it. these issue occur after upgrade from dnn4.6 to dnn7.1. Please guide me how to resolve it or any other free dnn search module is available for dnn.

If you are not seeing any search results, make sure that your site has a default portal alias defined in the Site Settings area. I believe that NOT having one prevents the search engine from working correctly.
