Hi Team, I am creating a new user on the DNN and observed that the new user is unable to post in the Journal module. Can you please let us know why the user is not able to post in the Journal module. Thanks, John. |

I would start by checking the user's Security Group memberships, and make sure the memberships correspond to what is needed to post to the Journal. Check the Journal module's permissions, too. |

Hi, Thanks for your replay, Where I need to check the memberships and the permissions? In Journal module's permissions "View Module =true " for all users. Is there any other setting that I need to check? Thanks. |

Hmmm. I just looked at my test installation. New users can post. On your site, does a logged in user the the box into which they can write their message? |

If clicking on the text area doesn't do anything, it may be that you have a javascript/jQuery error. Are you using a custom skin? If so, switch temporarily to a DotNetNuke skin to see if that's the problem. You can use the developer tools in a browser (I prefer Chrome's tools) to try to identify what is causing the error. |

Hi, It is working fine for Super User, Only for newly registered users it is not working. I think it is not the error with skin or any java script. Thanks.
