Hello all,

I am inputting a lot of data into a module and this often includes preformatted tables, javascript widgets, google maps iframes etc. All of these items are very easily rendered useless by the RadEditor and its formatting.

I have gone to the settings in the host section (HTML editor manager) and disabled the remove scripts and attempted to play with some things there, but I am still having trouble.

What I would love to do is be able to turn it off completely for the module I am working on.

Right now I have to open an HTML module and click "basic editor" and then go into the module I am inputting the data to, but even then I have to continuously select "Raw" mode or else the javascript gets messed. Even if I don't touch that field with the script if I load it and then save it fubars the script.

I'm pretty close to just disabling the entire rad editor because this module essentially runs the backend of my site. I wanted to ask if anyone here had a solution instead.

The functionality to turn of the editor for one module doesn't exsit.

But, you can paste both HTML and things like javascript into the header or footer of the module and the editor will not touch it. I tend to prefer the footer.

You can check the page source to see how things are placed.

You might also want to check out the Widget Suite (http://dnnwidgets.com/). There are some tools there that you might fine helpful.

Joseph, that's a brilliant idea. I've been wrestling for hours to simply paste youtube videos and google maps. Fixed it immediately. Thank you.
