All,

I have an Intranet where I have placed an iFrame.  I want that iFrame to grab the contents of a Module on my Internet website.  I don't want the whole page, just the module and it's contents.  Is this possible with iFrame?

Please let me know.

Thanks!

What I have done for things like this is to create a skin that has nothing one it but a single content pane. I place a copy of the module that I want to iframe on the page. Then I iframe the page with the single module.

OK, found something more weird! I created a skin that only has a Content Pane. I was able to "reference" from the page I wanted the Events Calendar from (could only reference or New, not copy. Reference was what i wanted.)

However, when I am logged into my website, and then go to my Intranet where I put the iFrame at (I'm basically using my Park Board Meeting calendar on the internet and having it viewed on the intranet for employees), if logged in to the "Internet" site, the employees can see and interact as if I'm Host on the Intranet. It literally shows the Host menu items, adding a module, creating a page, all those options in the iFrame.

Any ideas?

I think it's because I'm using the Page URL in the iFrame, so it would show the Host stuff when I log in. That's something that needs to be avoided.

Any other ideas?

Does that happen if you are logged out?

No. When I log out, it goes away (after a page refresh).

I think that means that others won't see it unless logged in as administrators.  Or am I not understanding something?
