In the account login module and in the login module on the login page I want to edit the field called username to say email address. I also want to edit the help text for the username field to indicate to my end users that their username is their email address. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks, Sarah

You would do this by editing the localized text for the module. Do this with the Language Editor.

If you really want to use an email address rather than a username, you might want to take a look at Dynamic Registration and Dynamic Login from DataSprings. Those really do use the email address rather than by calling username with a different name.

Thanks - Yes - I've purchased those modules - Dynamic registration was easy enough for me to set up following your tutorials, but I found dynamic login very confusing. Do you know of any video tutorials for it?

Hello,

We have not covered Dynamic Login in the tutorials. If you need help on using the module, it would probably be best to contact DataSprings support directly and they will be able to give you tips on configuring the module,
