Is anyone else having problems with Feedback Module categories? The module works fine when it's set up with a single "Send To" email address. When I add categories with seperate email addresses in the values, and select "use values to send to", I get an error message that the Feedback Module is currently unavailable. I followed the new video tutorial step by step, so not sure what the problem is. Thanks, Tom

In the feedback Lists area:

Have you added any subjects?
If you have, make sure that the Value for any subjects is a number - exactly as we did in the tutorial

I have not added a subject list. I have the Subject on "None Specified", and checked the "Can Edit Subject" radio button. Do I need to add some subjects to make the category email list work? Tom

You should not have to, what version of DNN are you using? We recently found problems with earlier DNN5. versions

Yes, it's 5.1.4 where I also have come across the error. I would suggest you upgrade to the latest version of DNN and it should then work ok.

How to backup a live hosted DotNetNuke website and restore it to a localhost installation
How to Upgrade DotNetNuke (Auto Merge Method) (v4.6.2 to v5+)

Make sure you create a full backup of your website and database before attempting to upgrade, I would also suggest you test the upgrade on a local copy of your live webiste. The 2 tutorials above should walk you through everything you will need to know.

Thanks,

I wan tot use the feedback module to collect condolences from obituaries. Is there a way to changes the text "Feedback" in the module to something else or delete it?

Yes.

DNN's "Language Editor" is used to do this.

Go to Admin, Languages and then click the pencil icon under Static Resources, Site. Expand Local Resources, Desktop Modules, Feedback, App_Local Resources in the left column. Then you will see a display of all of the text and other items that can be customized.

If you need more help than this short note, ask in more detail!
