I have installed the latest version of ActiveForums on my site, and I want to set its graphics to match the skin on the rest of my site. the documentation seems to suggest that I have tohand-modify the module's CSS file to change its appearance. But that makes no sense, particularly since the rest of the module appears to be so well-designed.

I would expect ActiveForums to be able to adopt the skin of the portal in which it is installed. But I can't find any way to make that happen. And that leads me to believe I'm missing something.

Can nayone enlighten me here? How do I set ActiveForums to use my portal's skin to display itself? Thanks.

After doing some research, I think I can answer my own question. Unfortunately, ActiveForums appears to provide no skinning support. So, any changes that are made have to be made directly to CSS files. And it's not entirely clear where these CSS modifications go. There is an entire section of the ActiveForums support bulletin board dedicated to user having problems trying to skin the module.

An unfortunate omission from an otherwise nice product.

Hello Liza,

Have you viewed the forum page with the web developers toolbar?

You will see that there is an additional css file called module.css - it's this file that you need to edit. You will see lots of styles with the prefix af
