Version 3.1.0 is a very old version of DotNetNuke. The DigNuke site says that DigFlash is supported for versions 4.x. So, I would guess that it does not work with 3.1.0.

You will need to upgrade your site to use a "modern" version of DotNetNuke.

Down load latest  upgrade version of DNN 5.1 form dotentnuke.com.....

1]Open the web.config of new 5.1

2]Chnage the both connection string form the old website web.config to new website web.config
3]chanage the machine key from old web.config to new web.config
4]Change  object qulifier of old web.config to new web.config..

Save new web.config properly....

Copy all the upgrade version folder and paste on the root folder of old site...

It automaticaly upgrade the site without any data loss.....

To upgrade from version 3.x to 5.x, you should go in several stages.  You will need to go from your 3.x to a corresponding version of 4.x.  Then upgrade to 4.6.2, then to 4.9.5, and then to 5.x.  After you get to 4.6.2, you can do upgrades without having to manually edit the web.config file.

There is an excellent set of upgrade guides in Mitchel Sellers blog (mitchelsellers.com).

Since this upgrade is going to take a bit of work, I would recommend that you make a backup copy of your site, install it locally, and do the upgrades there.  Then, you can install the upgraded version on your live site.

Look at the page source to make sure that the flash code is inserted as you expect.

Also, make sure that any references to files are correct. You may not have the right path to the files.

it's my understanding that other other flash files are working on your production site? If that's correct, check the file path of the flash file that's NOT working. You could try viewing the page source (In Firefox), clicking the file path and see if the page takes you to an error page.

Just another level of troubleshooting. I haven't worked in flash in some years and back then I could remember file path issues.
