I am new to DNN so this may be a dumb question,  but here goes.  During my first attempts at using DNN,  I succeeded in killing it such that I could not access the home page and get to fix whatever I had done.

So,  I deleted most of the SQL Servers and system apppeared to rebuild on my next attempt to launch the URL.  I thought all was well,  but modules are not available that your tutorials call out for.  "Text/HTML" being one of them.

Are there any scripts/guide to rebuilding the 4.3 site without losing my config info.  Or even bettter is there a way to refresh the set of known available modules such that I will have restored to where the system began?

Thanks,

Howard

Hi Howard,

In the installation files that come with DNN, look in the install folder and you will see all of the modules listed in there.

You could use these zip files to re-install the modules to your portal

For info on installing modules check out:
How to install a module to DotNetNuke

If you have caused some major problems you may have deleted parts of the DNN core by mistake. In these cases i would recommend doing a complete re-install to make sure that you are not working with a faulty installation and therefore preventing any further problems appearing in the future.
