Hi guys,
I just installed a default version of DNN 4.9.1 under Vista and IIS7 on SQL 2005 Express by following the video on here. When I go in and select from the list of modules installed I don't have Image, User Defined Table, Survey, Contacts and a number of other modules that are appearing in the dropdown in the video.

Does anyone know why this may be? I had thought that the image module would be installed by default.

When I go to my DNN installation I have the following modules only

Account Logon
Banners
Feed Explorer
Google Adsense
Links
Search Input
Seacrh Results
Text/HTML
User Account

Cheers,
Mark

Not all modules are installed by default.

Go to the Module Definitions page on the Host menu. At the bottom you will see other modules listed. Check the ones that you want to install them. If there are other modules you want to install, you will need to download them from DotNetNuke.com (or elsewhere) and install them using the dropdown menu entry on this page.

Hi JN,
I was able to install the additional modules but still do not have an option to add an image? Is the image module a standard module?

Where do you want to add the image?

You might find these useful:

Thanx, I have been doing a little bit of looking and it seems that the image module has been superseded by the media module....I do have that in my drop down list now.

I am interested in a rotating Flash image module and have found this one here http://www.aboutdnn.com/FreeModule/...tator.aspx

I have downloaded it but now am unsure how to install it and make it available. I extracted the contents but does there need to be a *.dnn file for it to install? I assume you install it via Host ->Module Definitions ->Imstall Module Definition  and then browse to where I downloaded the module??

Cheers,
