Hello..

In the website that i'm doing, i'm using the housemenu, and when i changed from the solpartmenu to the housemenu, in the admin sections i already changed the dropdow menus for that dropdown ordinal list, but what i would like to know is if is possible i format or change this ordinal dropdown menu for something more nice.. like the solpartmenu before, i would create some other list, can i do this!?

Best Regards,

Jorge

The snapsis menu allows for hoverover drop down menus. - The package also comes with a special dropdown list menu just for the admin and host menus which you can place in your skin as a token. - Its pretty handy for CSS skins.

Well you can, but when I was testing it, there were problems in IE7, but I didn't spend a lot of time troubleshooting it as I tend to use static menus. - Snapsis though do work and I have tested the hover over menus in all browsers and used it on clients sites.

Snapsis' Nav Menu comes with a short, but useful user's guide. There is also a support forum at their web site, and John Mitchell is quite generous with his support, help, and advice.

As I recall, you "install" the menu like you install any module. Then, you'll have to modify your skin to place the module where you want it, and then you have to modify skin.css to style the menu.

The configuration options are listed in the menus documentation, I've attached the documentation here.

I don't think you can setup the snapsis menu in the skin.XML file, you just add the config code directly to your skin file (html or ascx).

There are some example skins included with the menu, I would suggest you look at those skins and how the menu code is added to a skin.
