I have installed DNN 4.1.1 and have logged in using the default user name and passwords for admin and host.  In both situations, the login appears to be successful (no error is given) but the tabs associated with the log ins don't appear.  I also registered with the site and, after logging in, my user name and log out links never appeared.

Any ideas why this is happening?  Is it a DNN issue or something not set properly in my Windows XP professional environment?

Are you using one of the standard DNN skins? If so, I'd say that something is set up wrong, so I'd recommend reinstalling.

I would also suggest that you try installing Version 4.5.5. It is a much better version than 4.4.1.

Yes, I was thinking it was time to reinstall and make the move to the latest version. Your recommendation was good advice. All is well now as the tabs are showing in the new 4.5.5 installed version. Thanks for your help!
