Using StartTabId in Solpartmenu

I Have two Solpartmenus in a page, One is Horizontal which is Root menu and the Submenu is vertical , For SubMenuItems I need to Split Submenuitems into two pages due to more no. of submenuitems, I know it's possible using StartTabId of Solpartmenu and tried few things , but don't know exactly how to acheive the requirement...
Any ideas ?
