Hi!

I have an account I am using that is an administrator account.  It was working well, and still is except, I cannot edit modules any longer after going into dynamic mode with FCKEditor.  I've got the excellent examples working splendidly as prescribed in Lee's excellent videos, everything works fantastic.  I've logged out, logged back in, still missing the little pencil icons and module title drop downs.  I can still use the host and admin menus and change things, as it doesn't seem to have affected any other areas.  Also, it only seems to be affecting Text/HTML modules and the Users Online module.  The other administrative modules are not affected.  This problem does not affect Host.  Everything pops up as normal.  This problem is occuring in all modern versions of all browsers.  I prefer to use the admin account with my name to log in and do most of my work, write articles, etc.  I went back to static, and re-logged in, same problem is occuring, so I just set it back to dynamic mode.  I checked that the toolbars be available to all users, in case this is part of the problem.  Is there something else I can check with the role of administrators that would fix this problem?  Any thing that might be in the database?  Using the latest DNN, and am using PowerDNN as my hosting provider. (if that matters)

Thanks!

Hello,

I have not come across this problem with the FCK editor. It sounds as though you have switched between the view and edit modes in the main control panel.

At the very top of the ControlPanel on the left hand side you'll see mode: view / edit

Make sure the edit radio button is selected while logged in as admin.

Wow.  I am an idiot.  Thank you!!  You were absolutely right, I can't believe I didn't catch that.

As always, this site rules!
