I can not see 'NETWORK SERVICE' in my Security Tab.

I have followed the instructions from:
http://www.dnncreative.com/tabid/28...tentID=129

e.g.:
'Click on the ‘Add’ button, when the next window pops up, click on the ‘Advanced’ button, and then click on ‘Find Now’ button. You will see all the Permissions available'

But I still can't see 'NETWORK SERVICE'.

I am running XP Pro service pack 2 , with IIS 5.1
version installed: 'DotNetNuke_04.05.05_Install' file

I can see'Network' and another name called 'n**1 admin', but no NETWORK SERVICE.

Any ideas?
thanks,
mark

Hello,

Welcome to the forum.  That tutorial is focused on Windows 2003, for XP pro I would recommend you view:
How to install DotNetNuke 4.5 to Windows XP Pro with IIS

The quick answer is you do not need to enable ' network service' you need to enable full permissions for the ASP.NET account.

Full details are provided in the link above, hope this helps,

Thanks,
