Hi,
I'm sure there is a really simple answer to this but i've been looking and i can't find an answer.
I have DNN 4.5.2
I have a hosted domain which is running OK, and i have set up a new web site as a domain alias (completly new url).
I have been testing the new user registration and my notification emails are going to my personal email address. I would like to change this but i can't find out where to change it.
Do you have any ideas?
Many thanks,
Matt.

The emails should be going to the email address for the site administrator. You can change this under Site Settings, Advanced Settings, Other Settings.

Hi Joe,

Thanks for the quick reply.
I have found the area that you told me, but there is just my name 'matthew farmer' in the administrator box.
It is not an email address and it will not let me change it to an email address.
I'm just wondering how it knows where to send the emails and how i can change it.

Thank you,
Matt.

Matt,

The Administrator is a dropdown list that will contain the names of every user who has site administrator privileges. I'm guessing that only you are the administrator, so the the dropdown will have only one name. The email address gets pulled from your user profile.

So ... click on users, find yourself, and change your email address. Then do something that sends an email to the administrator. You should find that the email goes to the new address.

If you want the adminstrative email to go to an special address, create another user account, and use that address. Also make that account an administrator by adding it to the Administrators role. Then, go to the Site Settings page, and make that account the administrator.
