I am receiving an error when trying to upload files either via "File Manager" or via any of the file upload functions: -

An Error Has Occurred When Attempting To Save The File E:\inetpub\vhosts\hourglassbc.com\httpdocs\Portals\0\HGBC_Images\AUDDIS&PDD Button.gif. Please Contact Your Hosting Provider To Ensure The Appropriate Security Settings Have Been Enabled On The Server.

I have browsed the forums and it appears that this was an issue in previous versions of DNN with a Stored Procedure {http://support.dotnetnuke.com/issue...px?id=4196}

It appears it should be fixed but I am getting this error in DNN 4.5.3

Is anybody else getting this problem and do you know how to fix it in DNN 4.5.3?

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

It's probably not a stored procedure because the error message is showing you the path to the file that's being saved. You should make sure that the uploader has privileges to store a file in Portals\0\HGBC_Images. Check the permissions.

Were you trying to upload the file using the DotNetNuke File Manager?

Oops,  yes you are using the File Manager!  If you haven't done so already, look at DotNetNuke File Manager.

After viewing the suggested File Manager tutorials, I successfully created a new folder (within portal root) and uploaded a zip file of images. But when I attempted to do the same with a second new folder, the exact same error message as posted by KMOwen occurred.

I tried uploading just a jpg instead of a zip to this new folder, and then even tried to upload a file to the portal root folder, and now this error message persists.

We have Dnn version 4.6.2. Would you have any thoughts?

Thanks!

Hmmm ... it worked with one folder but not another? I'd start by double checking the permissions for the folder that fails.
