Hi Lee

When I use the "Page Header Tags" in the "Advanced Page Settings" the "tags" that I enter are visible at the top of the browser window when the page is displayed. I have observed this in both DNN451 and DNN453. The tags are visible in both edit and view modes and also when logged out.

I am using a CSS skin with the HouseMenu Ver 1.4.

Are you aware if this is a known bug with DNN or if you think it may have something to do with my skin design.

I have viewed the page source and the tags do not appear to be "wrapped" in the correct tags.

You can check out an example here: http://www.whiterocksolutions.com/d...fault.aspx

Thanks

Kevin

Hi Kevin,

This is working correctly. - These tags are for adding metadata into the head section of the HTML in your page, they are not tags for search engines. - If you want to enter keywords for a page enter them into the keywords box at the top of the page settings.

An example of a metatag is to specify the date when the page was created. - This can be used for Google Sitemaps to pick up when using tools such as GSiteCrawler, ie:
(spaces added so that the code displays)

< meta name="date" content="2007-06-01" / >

Thanks,
