Hi,

I've noticed that in the DNN-Blue skin provided with 4.5.1 there's token in the skin.xml file that is new to me:

<Token>[NAV]Token>

It functions just like the Solpart Menu. I couldn't find info on it in the 4.4.1 skinning.pdf (latest). Just wondering if someone knew what the deal was? Is this an upgrade or an outdated/depreciated menu like the [MENU] is outdated? I'd just like to use the most up-to-date code.

Thanks,
Dathan

I remembered my real reason for venturing out to find info... Does know of any documentation for this, especially for the xml settings? It seems self explanatory except for “CSSBreak” - what is that?

Also, what’s this new resources folder in the root for?

Thanks,
Dathan

The [NAV] token is used for a new CSS menu. You can find information about this menu webcontrol at: http://webcontrols.dotnetnuke.com/default.aspx

Thanks for the response, I appreciate the info. I checked out the URL and the documentation states that the new Nav object is recommended over the Solpart Menu:

“It is recommended that new skins created move away from

the “old” skin objects and instead utilize the new Nav skin object.”

So that answered my question.

Thanks again,

Dathan
