Hello Everyone,

Last time when i have posted my query you guys helped me a lot and i am really thankfull for all your valuable support and guidance. Previously i was trying to upload my DNN website from Localhost to Live server and for that i used the Template method as i m not very versed with database part .

So i just a create a template of my local host website and than uploaded to my live server and i have made changes acc. in webconfig so basically used the Db of my hosting provider which they have provided us . NOw as far as i learned abt. DNN if one create a new website on local host it automatically creates a new database for it and if one want to upload its website from local host to live server than one need to deploy the Database from local host to live server .

As i have adopted the second approach i did'nt transfer my Local host Databse but now i  m creating a enquiry form for my website so for that i need to use Database so i want to know wwether i need to use the same database or i need to create a new database and if yes than wether i need to create that database on my localhost and than transfer or if not than how can i change or modify the database of my server as i can't a write a query for that database so i can't modify it.

Your immediate response will be highly appreciated . pLs. do let me know your suggestions and  advice .

Hoping for a quick and positive response from your end .

Thanks & Regards
Pragya Shukla

DotNetNuke just uses one database for a single installation, so if you are creating an enquiry form within your DotNetNuke website you will not need to add a new database.  You will just need to use a module such as the feedback module. Thanks,
