Hi,

How to update Page Title/Meta Keywords / Description on Default DNN Privacy and Terms Page.



We setup custom pages for terms and Privacy and those are good but google is still crawling /terms and /privacy pages as duplicate title/ keywords etc.



I can able to manage removing contents of both default pages but Not sure how to remove or update title/ desription and meta keywords etc from these pages.

Please let me know.

Hi Noel,

The default Terms and Privacy link on the skin points to what I call "system pages". You don't have much control over them.

What I recommend is to create your own Privacy and Terms pages as regular pages and make the necessary links from the skin to them. This way you will be able to control the meta data the way you want.

Thank you for reply and I am sorry I didn't able to get this message directly, so replying late.

We have created regular pages for Privacy and Terms but google still crawling default dnn pages and in report its showing duplicate Title/Contents etc.

Its saying duplicate because Title/Meta/Description is same like homepage. Is there something we can able to do?

Either you didn't enter custom descriptions for these new pages or Google didn't have enough time to re-index these new pages.
