I am using the Base Search Engine Sitemap Provider with the News Articles plug in, if Im saying that right. Its all very confusing to me. However the output is fouled up. Some of the entries say frequency daily, other entries say frequency never. I looked at my web.config and the default is set there to daily.

Can I ftp the file local, edit, then reupload? I am browsing around with my ftp tool and I dont see that file, searchenginesitemap.aspx.

I don't know why the changefrequency values are all over the place. Is there any chance that you have a sitemap provider that might be doing that? Look at the Admin, Search Engine Site Map page.
