We are planning to move our current DNN installation (DotNetNuke Community Edition - 05.06.02) to Windows Server 2012, IIS 8 and SQL Server 2012.

Current installation is on Windows Server 2003 R2 running IIS 6.0 using Microsoft SQL Server 2005.

Please let me know if this migration is possible. My research reveals that some had issues but, don't see anyone saying that it is not possible.

Some people reported having issues with modules (which is expected), and unable to connect to the database etc. However, they all were able to get through I guess. No one had mentioned that it (the upgrade that I am trying to do) is not possible. Still, I thought I will check one more time, before I continue with my plans.

Once you do that, you should also upgrade DNN to a modern version. That may involve more challenges.
