When tried to install the trial version of EasyDNNnews_6.4.1 in DNN 7.1.2 website by Host--Install Extension Wizard choose file method it was not successful and showed the message "The server closed the connection without sending any data".Is there any other means by which a third party module could be installed in DNN 7.1.2?

Have you tried installing any other modules? If so, do they work correctly?

Check the Event Log to see if there are other details on the error.

Also, open the EasyDNNnews zip file and see if there is anything obviously wrong there. Did this come in a zip file with UNZIPME in the name? If you, you may need to unzip the file to get at the installable zip file. You may also need to right-click and unblock the zip file before you can use it.

I would also report this to the EasyDNNnews developer

If this is an unzipme file, you should unzip it first and read any readme file that is included. It is likely that there are several files in the zip archive, and one of them is the one that you want to use to do the install.

I downloaded the trial EasyDNNnews module from their website. It includes a couple of installable modules, some documentation and a "Read Me" file.
