You can copy the skin files to Portals/_default/skins and the container files to /Portals/_default/Containers.

As you had advised copied the skin files, container files and templates to the root folder. But when logged into the website,to perform the final step
Host -- SiteManagement -- Add New Site, the Add New Site link also appears broken. So how could this be achieved?Could you please login
and check using the credentials given in the previous message?

When I go to Host, Site Management and click "Add New Site" there is an error.

I changed the skin on that page to a Gravity skin. Then, the "Add New Site" link loads the popup.

My guess is that there is a problem with the skin. You should ask the skin's developer to take a look.

Thanks for your message. When changed the skin and tried,I could also work with Add website.Thanks.There is another issue that Site Wizard is not visible anywhere in DNN 7.1.2 website.Because using Site wizard, build website with a template option had to be performed.
You have any information about how to take sitewizard in DNN 7.1.2?

The Site Wizard is a page underneath the Admin page. If you click Admin in the control panel, you will be taken to the Admin page, and all subpages are listed there.

You will also find it if you mouseover Admin and click the Advanced Settings (second) icon in the left column.

Couldn't find an uninstall option for skins in DNN 7.1.2.In DNN 05.06.02,Host--extensions--skins--could choose the specific skin and side to it
there is a red tick mark to uninstall the skin. But in DNN 7.1.2 in host--extensions-- along with the installed skins names could find only an edit icon. How to uninstall a skin in DNN 7.1.2

Go to Host, Extensions.
Open the Skins section.
Locate the skin that you want to delete. At the right end of the entry you will see a "trash can" icon. Clicking it will delete the skin.
