I had 4.3.5 and now used 4.4 starter kit to install dnn 4.4. However, after installing the kit and create a new website, all the images in the sites cannot be shown. Other than that, i cannot add any module in the page...Would you please advice?

Thank you

So have you installed it and it now works? Your last post said it did not load? - Can you keep all of these within the one topic to make it easier to follow what is happening.

I have not upgraded using a starter kit before so I don't know if there are any pitfalls to avoid. Perhaps it would be worth searching the dotnetnuke.com forum.

Have you read the dotnetnuke installation documentation which outlines the process for upgrading? - It is the same process as the video tutorial I pointed you to but it may provide further clarification.

Which method did you use for upgrading when you had the error cannot display page? - Are there any further details that it provides?

Thanks,

Actually, it's not really the same case. Maybe I clarify it first.

First, I have a DNN website and it's 4.3.5 now i want to upgrade the site to 4.4. However, it cannot display the page now. Only the website folder has been updated.

Second, I want to update my development environment to 4.4 too so i install 4.4 starter kit in my development machine. I tried to create a new website, however, the new website cannot display all the images.

Hope this helps u understand better.

Thank you

ok, thanks I understand now. - For the starter kit, I don't know, I would have a look on dotnetnuke.com for any tips as I have not upgraded a starter kit before. - For the other I will answer on the other post...

yes it should be fine, but I don't use the starter kit, so can't provide any advice on the best way to go about it, thanks,

thtang,

On the dnn forum there's a thread about this issue: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community...fault.aspx

In my case there's still some javascript error. I heard that DNN version 4.4.1 should be on the way. Do not know anything about a timeframe but hopefully it solves also this problem.
