Thought someone might know a good answer to this question. I have been using the form and list module as a replacement for the ODS.Form module which has become obsolete with the deletion of a depreciated method for sending mail done since DNN 5.3.0.
Anyway I am finding that this module does not seem to work like the old one for example the textarea (known as rich text/html column) does not seem to be adjustable in regards to size. It seems to be fixed a a cols of 75 and I need it shorter. According to the DNN people they said their was no way to work around this issue but to report it as a bug for the next fix. I was just wondering if you guys had any ideas of what could be done in regards to the physical size of the multiline text box I want in my form. Not the amount of characters that can be written in the box but the width and the heighth of the box itself.
Also I have noticed that when creating a le for a form field this form and list module will not allow me to add either a "," or a "(" into the coloumn le. If I do and I hit update nothing will be updated but I will be returned to the text field with the le I had written in and this won't update properly until I delete any commas or paranthesis from my le. I am assuming this has got to have to do in some way with the fact these are special characters to sql server and sql statements and so have a issue recording any string with these characters in it but I am not sure if you guys know any work arounds.
