Hello,
I'm trying to change the phrase "Register"  that is part of the main menu.
i have looked through the language resource area, but could not find it.

I believe it may be of the showUsertab menu option

any suggestions how I can change this.

If you mean "Register" that changes to the user name when someone logs in, that is the USER control.

Go to Admin, Languages and click on the Language Editor link.

Expand Local Resources, Admin, Skins, User, App_LocalResources.

There are two items. You want to change the first.
