Hello,
I ran into a problem trying to install DNN 521 to my local computer running Windows 7.  I followed the tutorials on DNN to a T and had success until i got to the point where I tried to install the dotnetnuke website.

I was able to follow the "How to install DotnetNuke to Windows 7" exactly as described by, but was unable to load the dotnetnuke installation wizard page (The installation wizard page with the 3 radio buttons custom, typical, auto).

(I actually followed the first 4 videos to the point where i got the error.
Then i followed the instructions in video 5 and did a new install (including setting up the database manually as described in the video))

Can anyone offer any suggestions?

Here is the message i get within my browser:

1. First I tried enabling Directory browsing in IIS for both websites: didn’t help

2. I added the user Network Service and gave Full Control rights to this user.  Didn't help.

3. I granted Read & Execute, List folder contents and Read permissions to the ASPNET account on the root of my web folder.  Didn’t help.

4. Then I cleared all my caches, history, etc from my browsers.  Viola!!! It worked.

So I'm not even sure if steps 1-3 were necessary.  But after step 4, I got it going.
