When I go to the skins page all I see is a red X where the thumbnail images are supposed to be.  When I hover my mouse over the red X I see that the URL is repeating the domain/portals path. For instance, the default DNN Blue skin would be http://localhost/portals/localhost/...horizontal menu - fixed width.jpg Please note the duplication of localhost/portals/localhost/portals.  Is there a work-around for this behavior? It has been present since 4.0.1 and I cannot figure out how to correct it.

Yes it is a bug that has been around for quite a while now. I've also found that sometimes it works ok and others it displays the red x.

I do recall reading a post in the main DNN skinning forum regarding this, but I'm unsure if someone posted a fix. - It could be worth searching in the DNN skinning forum. - It was probably posted around a month ago.

Let us know if you find a fix, thanks,

Unfortunately, the bug in this post is not the same as the error I'm encountering. Thanks for the assist thou.

Lee, I finally isolated it to a bug in the DNN Core. I (used to) create my Portals on my D:\ drive in a directory called Portals. Simple enough and quite intuitive, right? However, the directory name Portals causes the error and can be easily duplicated by creating a fresh install of DNN in (let's say) D:\Portals\MyWebsite. This has been plaguing me 6 to 9 months and I just recently isolated the bug.
