Hi All,

Can you please advice on best practices that are to be followed for large DNN sites. Specifically I'm interesting in finding out below:

Our environment: We have two Windows 2003 VM servers 1) hosting SQL server 2005 and the other is IIS. We have about 20 websites sharing the same DNN instance (DB and iis root directory). We have more or less 100 concurrent users and some dnn scheduled jobs which have been made much less aggressive by increasing the intervals.
Our issue: Now, even if none of the scheduled jobs are running, CPU on db server is still spiking. IIS pools for various sites crashes pretty often.

We are expecting the number of sites to double but would like to find out best practices used out there to make sure we get optimal performance.

I guess I need to provide more info on the server specs but I wouldn't be surprised if there are articles out there or some people here who can recommend based on similar experience.

I believe that there is information at the DotNetNuke website regarding "high traffic" sites. Your's doesn't seem to be an extreme example, so I suspect that you'll find some help.
