Hi Guys, I am not sure if anyone has come across this before but when I create a new page in DNN my footer container keeps repeating. It looks like a bug of sorts but I cannot figure out what would cause this. If someone could please have a look at what I mean here, I would appreciate it. http://demo.mrvideo.co.za/Movies/Ku...Panda.aspx Many thanks! James

Well, that is interesting. Could you attach your skin file to a reply?

Hey Joseph,

Thanks for the reply...

Turns out it is a bug in DNN. Had to ask one of the developers to delete duplicated footers from the database. When I get some time I log it. (Wish DotNetNuke had some kind of reward system on their forums like Sitefinity has points. Hey, now there's an idea for DNN Creative. How you about assigning points to users and being able to trade them in for something from DNN Creative when you have scored a certain amount?) ;-)

Chat soon,
James

Hi Joseph,

Months later and now I am sitting with the same problem. I can ask the developer to remove these the same way as he did last time but that not solve the problem in the long run. Especially if the client were to use the CMS.

I vaguely remember that this starting happening when I accidentally clicked the option to repeat the footer module on all pages. Since then, every time I create a new page, this footer module seems to appear on the page which is causing me a headache.

Do you have any ideas what might be causing this?

Thanks,
James

If you have a module set to appear on every page, it will be added to new pages.

Can you post a link to the site?

Hi Joseph,

The problem seems to happen when I create a page with a specific skin. If I create a blank FooterBug page with the default desktop version of the skin, the footer does not apply. If I delete that page, and recreate it using the mobile skin, the footer then is applied to the page.

Have a look at this to see what I mean.

Thanks for having a look.

I'm not sure what I'm supposed to see.  There is a footer, right?
