In a CP as I create a subdomain, a folder with the name of this subdomain (subdomain.domain.com) is been created and once I navigate to it as the newly created portal this page appears: ============================================== If you see this page, means that your website is successfully installed on our server. Steps to have your first website up and running. 1. Download FTP Client ( Smart FTP , Cute FTP) 2. Connect to our server by using the details found in IIS Manager menu in control panel. 3. Once you connected, you will see public_html folder. 4. Upload all your files (index.html, or default.html or index.asp, or index.aspx) and all the files inside public_html folder. 5. Delete this default.htm page from public_html folder 6. Once you do that, you should be able to see your website firstpage instead of this one. ============================================== I write the support that I do not need a new website, I need a virtual subdomain and they ask: "Do you mean, you want to create virtual directory?" How can I compound with them? What is the technical term for a subdomain to which DNN can navigate as the new parent portal? Thanks

Basically, you will want to point the subdomain name (this is DNS) at your website.  You will also want to put appropriate entries in the portalalias table.
