Without actually owning a smart phone it was my grand intention to make my website work for my clients that are tied to their mobiles. Then I bought a Blackberry ASSUMING that I could login to my site, up load or download files, do minor admin while not in the office, etc. It turns out I can't log in to my site using my Blackberry Bold with the latest software and browsers. However, I can log in to the DNNCreative site and can download files, navigate around, etc. Is there some setting that I can make to allow mobile access to my site?

Can you give more details? I'd guess that it's a skin or cookie issue, but it's hard to make a good guess without knowing more details.

OK the detail is I'm using a Blackberry Bold with the latest official operating system. I have a choice of 3 browsers - blackberry, Bolt & Opera Mini. My site is DNN 5.1.04 (www.rickandersonarchitects.com) I'm using DataSprings Dynamic login and the default authentication system. When I enter login or registration information and then press login NOTHING happens. If I return the cursor to the end of a field and press enter the page reloads but there is no login. This happens on my own site and it happens on other DNN sites. However, I can log on to DNN creative. What should I be looking for?

Possible choices for the source of the problem include the browser, Dynamic Login, and your skin. I would start with a default DotNetNuke skin and see if that solves the problem. If not, create a login page with the standard DotNetNuke User module. If you'll report the results of these tests, then perhaps there are some more suggestions.

This is interesting as I have not made any special changes to DNN Creative except to build a pure CSS skin and make sure it is W3C compliant.

It is also running in 4.x rather than 5.x which may or may not affect it.

Let us know where you are at with this, it may be something that we need to cover as a tutorial as Smartphones are going to be coming more and more popular over the next few years.

Thanks,
