Database growing too large

Hi, I upgraded from 4.8.0 to 5.1.0 and now my database has grown from about 100MB to over 600MB and it continues to get bigger. (The log file is well over 1GB.) The offending table appears to be SearchItemWordPosition, which is taking about about 525MB. I have the standard modules installed, as well as ActiveForums 4.1. I've tried clearing out the search related tables and re-indexed the search from the Search Admin page. Does anyone have any ideas what the problem might be? Norman

This one would be worth asking the core team, especially if this is now happening in DNN 5.1.0 and it did not have the problem before upgrading.
