   Today my problem is when I upgrade a site from DNN 4.6.2 to 4.9.0 the pages under the admin and host menu are not available. Do you think that I am doing something wrong here?

No, what you are seeing is either a bug or a feature, depending on how you look at it.

You will need to go into your database and look at the Tabs table. For all of the tabs with PortalId=0, change IsSecure from true to false. Then you will be able to see your host and admin pages. Once you do that, you can go to the Host Settings page and set SSL to what you want for your site.
