Hello,

Every new page I create has a Text/HTML module automatically in it's content pane. How can I turn it off to get a realy blank page?

Thanks for the answer

When you create a new page, one of the page options is to apply a template to the new page. If you select "None Specified" then the template will not be applied.

If you have specified any modules to be displayed on every page, they will be added to new pages.

Thanks for the answer, a relief! But is it possible to define own templates and then apply them?

Thank you!

Check out:
How to create Page Templates in DotNetNuke

There maybe an easier method now, but this should give you all the info you need to get started and understand how they work, Thanks,

I'd like to have my announcements link to a page with no menu or nav bar just a title, text and an image or two. The templates tutorial wasn't helpful.

You will need to create a "skin" for those pages.  I'd recommend taking a skin that is close to what you need and then remove the menu and other items that you don't want.

Templates basically define the modules that go on a page, not the skin part.
