HI,
Is it possible to add styles for list elements, eg element="ul" in the fckstyles.xml file? The editor doesn't seem to pick them up in the styles dropdown list. I have tried adding the class directly in the source, eg ul class="test" etc. When I select the list items in the editor, the name of the class appears in the styles combobox, but it is not in the dropdown list. Any suggestions?

I've just done a quick test and it appears as though you can not add styles in the template for ul or li

Thanks for checking that.
So if you are trying to set a website so that content editors can only use the Style list to enforce css, most of the work is probably done in setting up your skin, and the Style list would have only a few options - maybe some options to highlight text, change text colours, float images left, right - anything else seems too difficult without having to use the Source option to fix things up.

I've just had a thought, rather than use the style list for ul etc. Have you tried creating a HTML template in the FCK editor just for the ul list. - you could create a HTML template which has a ul and a class applied to that ul.

The user would only then have to edit the text in the ul rather than edit the source code.

This may be a way of getting around the problem. Have a look at this tutorial:
FCK Editor HTML Templates
