My goal was to upload and watch the DNN Creative videos on our family IPad.
There were a few obstacles to overcome.

1st, I had downloaded the videos in wmv format and of course did not want to convert them.
2nd, The IPad was connected to my wife's ITunes account and I did not want to connect with her PC to upload the videos. I tried using an SD Card with the Camera kit but it would not upload wmv files.

Solution 1 is an app called AZul Video Player.
I uploaded this and it plays the videos nicely.

Solution 2 was to setup an app called Syncellence.
This App lets me upload any file from my PC via WiFi.
In the latest release (Aug 4th) I can then choose the files in another app (AZul).

It is sad that the IPad is so closed, but this solution is fairly painless and only set me back $4.99.

Thanks for the information. Yes, the iPad isn't necessarily friendly to video. And, you quickly find out which of your favorite sites is using Flash!
