    Hello!

I'm just wondering if there will be some tutorial videos about Telerik's RadMenu (and other products from them) in the near future? I have downloaded the trial of this product, but it seem to be too many things to control at the same time. Just to tell, I downloaded the radmenu skinobject for the first time this week so I have not spend so much time discovering it. But I will appreciate if there will be some tutorials out there soon so it would be easier to start. I know that Telerik's radmenu is not a free product, but I think it is the most advanced product out there when it comes to dotnetnuke menus.

I have also discovered the housemenu lately and will take a closer look at it as a replacement for the solpartmenu, but my wish for the future is a videoseries of Telerik's RadMenu and other products from that company.

At last I want to tell that I like this site very much. Keep up the good work!

Hello and welcome to the site!

I haven't used the RadMenu but I will add it to the list of tutorials to look at. I am going to setup an area where subscribers can suggest tutorials and can vote for the tutorials that they need. This will be a couple of months away as deadlines are very tight for getting the issues complete over the next 2 months.

Once I have set that up I will add the RadMenu to the suggested tutorials and let the subscribers vote for it.

The HouseMenu is a useful menu and the tutorials on here should get you started with that menu quickly.

Thanks for the suggestion and I will get the feedback area setup as soon as I get the spare time.

You can find RadMenu Integration Manual here: http://dnn.telerik.com/Support/radM...fault.aspx

On that page you can also find Integration Manuals for RadEditor, RadPanelbar, RadTabstrip, RadTreeView and RadUpload.

Yes please...can we have a tutorial on Radmenu integration as it's not that easy to implement but once it's running, it's the best menu I have seen for Sitefinity or DNN Thanks!

I used Rad Menu for a couple of dnn4.x websites. But as the 5th generation on DNN was here, I couldn't install Rad Controls anymore, not compatible! Just because of Rad Menu it was also not possible to upgrade the dnn4.x websites to 5.x. The solution for both problems was to pay a couple of hunderd dollars again for the new version of Rad Controls. B.T.W. For one of these 4.x websites an upgrade was really necessary, though we waived the Rad Menu and used some CSS and costumized the DNN Nav menu, through some CSS we could give exactly the same look to the Nav Menu.

The full set of Telerik Controls in now distributed as part of DotNetNuke.  That includes the RadMenu, and you can download a free module from the Telerik site that will allow you to use the Telerik editor in place of the FCK (now CK) editor.

I haven't tried using the Telerik controls, but the most recent (or the next) version of DotNetNuke will include "wrappers" for the Telerik controls.  If you use these, you don't need a developer's license from Telerik to use them in your own modules.  Check the blogs at DotNetNuke.com for more information.

Hi there. It would be good to get a tutorial on module development with the telerik controls using the "wrappers" you mention Joseph? Or do you know of any good links? I've had a quick search but not found anything. Thx.

A bit of googling turned up this:  http://www.codeproject.com/KB/aspne...rial.aspx.  That might be a place to start.
