    I wish there are videos like in 2009/2010 format so I can them on Windows Media Player. The most recent added videos have an file extension MP4, which I could not open the Windows Media Player. I did a little research and did not want to pay extra money for upgrading Neoro Player or download unknown files to decode them.

    I hope someone give me appropriate direction for this problem.

    I have no trouble opening the MP4 videos with Windows Media Player. What error do you receive? Is it possible that you've reassigned the MP4 extension to some other software.

    FWIW, Quicktime should also be able to open them.

    The error was "Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file." I did not reassigned the MP4 extensions to any software. I upgraded Windows Media Player to the latest version.

    Sorry for the incomplete information. You need to download a "codec" that will permit WMP to play mp4 files. Here is one reference:
