I just subscribed to this site.  When I download a video and unzip it, double click on the icon my page stays blank.  I downloaded macromedia  flashplayer. I can not find the problem.

    Hello,

I will try to help, I am going away for a few days in 30mins so I have also listed some answers that I have provided to other users, so hopefully this will help you get started.

Are you opening this with IE browser?

If you are I would click on the flash file direct - this will just open the flash player window and allow you to size the window as you see fit.

I just include the htm file to size the flash video to the appropriate monitor resolutions.

This was the solution for someone else who couldn't play the videos:

The problem was windows server 2003 does not have
MSJAVA.DLL provided!  They offer a free download and link to Sun for it.
Queer download, but worked because I can now see the video.  Also altered my
IE security to Medium, it simply would not let me got to Medium-Low, but I
am behind a hardware firewall that has never allowed anything through,

    Also:

This would be the first thing I would try.

Can you see flash when you visit other websites ie. on this link:

    http://www.macromedia.com/software/flash/about/

A flash animation should play which states flash is installed.

Which version of Flash do you have installed?

Otherwise what OS are you running?

Do you have a firewall set to high security which prevents flash?

You need the latest version of flash available from here:

    http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/down...kwaveFlash

"Well, I finally got it work. I clicked on the file and when it asked for a program to open it with, I chose IE. After accepting the unblocking, etc...it worked fine!"

I hope these various points help, let me know how you get on, thanks,

    Hello,

Recently some users have been having problems viewing the flash videos.

This is due to a recent security update in the latest versions of flash preventing the play of local flash videos, so you may need to check your flash player security settings.

A user on DNN Creative also provided this solution:

Lee, I solved the problem.  Here's the link to where to fix it:  http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/191/tn_191...l#download

What worked for me was following the directions on this page for Internet Explorer ActiveX Settings.

Hope this might help someone else with the same problem.

I also recently subscribed to this site and am experiencing the same issues as others regarding downloading and viewing the videos that are indicated as "Your Account is Active. You may access all 650+ videos, tutorials, podcasts, and more." I have tried all of the solutions recommended but nothing is working. I am using Adobe Flash 11.1.102.55 on a 64-bit Operating System in Windows 7. My Firewall isn't the problem. One of the DNN Creative users supplied a link . . . http:/kb2.adobe.com/cps/191...1#download which is a broken link. I would appreciate any further recommendations for solving this issue.
    Respectfully,
    Charlotte

If you were referring to the link in Lee Sykes message, it is http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/191/tn_191...l#download

    I just tried it.

Mind you, that message is a couple of years old, so I'm not sure if it is relevant today.
