http://www.chickensnow.info/ is an alias to portal  - 0

http://www.chickensplus.com/ is an alias to the same portal - 0

How can they have different skins?

I don't think they can as they are the same portal looking at the same data.

It maybe possible to write some code which looks at the URL and then assigns a different CSS file based on this but I don't know how you would implement that.

    Thanks,

Lee I took it off, this wasnt a question, it was actually happening, I put the containers on with the orange borders when I used the chickensplus.com alias. Later I clicked on a link that usese the chickensnow.info alias. The chickensnow.info alias had the default contianers , while if I loged out and went back in to chickensplus.com it showed the orange containers. Try it sometime, if you have one portal with mutliple aliases. I am running 4.5.1 , this isnt important , just interesting.
