I have a test site set up on my PC and another set up on production. my test site looks great the problem is when I copied the skin folder to the production server my superfish menu submenu items has no back image. they are just white...i am not sure why, they should take on the same color as the current menu item or the color of the navagation menu. I also like to point out that the production site was upgraded from 5.6

You probably want to look at the CSS for your skin file to see where it is expecting to find images ... assuming that the background is done with images.
