i think i created a helpful tool... On http://www.searchtricks.net/en/ i have integrated the most important advanced search options into individual search forms of major engines (google,yahoo,bing,youtube). The tool is free to use and non commercial!
With that you get answers to questions like "Who links to a Website?" or "Similar sites should be shown, like…" and many more.
